Fwd: QACC June agenda
The QACC agenda is attached. Remember to sign in at the front door at the QA Manor, 1st N and Crockett. Captain Kessler will be our guest so come prepared for questions for him on any safety issues you might have.
Shortly after the June meeting, the QA Community Council learned of a determination of non-significance for a change being propsed by City Council Member Mike O'Brien. The Executive Committee discussed the issue in e-mail, and also reached out to the full board via e-mail to determine a course of action. The Exececutive Committee approved supporting the SEPA Appeal.
In this meeting, the Council approved endorsing three "Street Fund" projects, 1) requesting a study on arterials that connect QA to the rest of the city, 2) fixing the intersection at 15th Avenue West and West Gilman, and 3) fixing the intersection at Crockett Street & 1st Avenue N. The Council also approved a motion to use Neighborhood and Parks Street Fund originally designated for curbs on Bigelow to be used to study traffic and parking issues at QA Elementary.
