The Queen Anne Community Council Parks Committee welcomes the attendance and participation of everyone who lives and works in Queen Anne. It is a committee open to all who care about parks and Queen Anne.
The Parks Committee advocates issues of importance to parks users and neighbors such as development of new parks and improvement of existing parks; as well as preservation of green spaces, trees, and historic boulevards. We provide a forum for discussion and act as a resource for parks-related issues and activities.
The group works to keep the neighborhood connected and informed. Guests include neighborhood activists and groups as well as government representatives such as King County Councilman Larry Phillips and Parks Department personnel.
