Parks
Partnering with city departments and community stakeholders to support the care and improvement of Queen Anne’s parks while advancing awareness and safety initiatives related to parks, wildlife (including coyotes), and neighborhood stewardship.
Queen Anne is truly an urban oasis, with more than 20 parks, lush greenbelts, and miles of walking woven throughout the neighborhood. While some spaces are well known, others are tucked-away gems. And then there are the stairways – more than 120 of them, not to mention our sports fields, playgrounds, Community Center, tennis courts, and indoor pool (the repair and re-opening of which is a top QACC priority).
These spaces don’t maintain themselves—their vitality depends on an active, engaged community. We’re fortunate to have dedicated stewards—Supporters of Maclean Trails, Friends of David Rodgers Park, Picture Perfect Queen Anne, and many neighbors—who help care for and enhance them.
Whether on your own or in partnership with the QACC, we invite you to take part in caring and advocating for the parks and public spaces that define Queen Anne.
